The purpose of the Association is to represent the common interests of the city of Carei, Satu Mare, - especially in relation to the elderly, persons with disabilities, families, unemployed persons, young people - in front of national, regional and county public institutions, as well as regional and local development, by increasing the level of living in these areas in relation to natural possibilities, without exhausting them. Also, among the aims of the Association we find and improve the economic situation, a stronger representation of the area; reducing the emigration of the population in these areas by raising the level of living; raising the competitiveness of rural communities; preserving the cultural heritage of communities, carrying out environmental protection activities; achieving a balance in terms of equality of opportunity (especially in relation to women and Roma minorities).
Scopul Asociației este reprezentarea intereselor comunelor din circumscripția orașului Carei, jud. Satu Mare, - in special in ceea ce ii privește pe vârstnici, persoane cu handicap, familii, persoane fara loc de munca, tineri - in fata instituțiilor publice naționale, regionale si județene, precum si dezvoltare regionala si locala, prin creșterea nivelului de trai a populației din aceste zone in raport cu posibilitățile naturale, fara epuizarea acestora.,De asemenea, printre scopurile Asociației regăsim si îmbunătățirea situației economice, o reprezentare mai puternica a zonei; reducerea emigrației populației din aceste zone prin ridicarea nivelului de trai; ridicarea competitivității comunităților rurale.
