ACODO orphanage has MOU (Memorandum of Understanding) with the Ministry of Social Affairs, Veterans and Youth Rehabilitation - MOU number 2663, dated on the 12th of October 2012. During 2008 and 2009 ACODO taught essential life and vocational skills to 1,450 very poor people living in local slums near Siem Reap city centre. Since 2008 ACODO has been operating an orphanage, which provides shelter, nourishment and a life changing education for some of Cambodia’s most destitute children. ACODO has successfully completed a number of projects such as re-locating to a new site and constructing purpose built kitchen, classrooms, separate accommodations for boys and girls, music class, library, computer room and charity show stage.
