CPN+ facilitates national and sub-national coordination of the network and coordinates activities by its members, to mitigate the impact of the HIV epidemic and improve the quality of life for PLHIV in Cambodia. CPN+’s activities are coordinated by the national office, based in Phnom Penh, led by a National Coordinator. He/she is answerable to a Board of Directors, the majority of who are elected members of CPN+, serving a two-year term. The Board of Directors is supported by Technical Advisory Committee (TAC). CPN+ currently supports nearly 1000 Self Help Groups (SHG) of PLHIV with the approximately 30,000 members in Phnom Penh and in the provinces. CPN+ works in partnership with provincial networks in 19 provinces (5 provinces were scaled up in years 2014), each headed by a Coordinator, who coordinate activities between the MMM groups and self-help groups in their province. Currently there are 36 MMM sites funding flow through CPN+ to support its activities at 36 Pre-ART/ART sites. Since its establishment in July 2001, CPN+ has experienced significant changes and challenges in developing its organizational and institutional structure. Starting from April 2012, CPN+ embarked on a process to develop and revise their policies, organizational manuals and bylaws. They also started the process to develop a coherent strategic plan to reflect their role within the current context of the epidemic in Cambodia. In February 2013, CPN+ General Assembly, with more than100 representatives in attendance, ratified the bylaws and approved their new Strategic plan for 2013-20
