Faced with the injustice that hits these seriously ill children, a group of doctors came with the idea of establishing a chain of solidarity to save them. Mixing the pleasure of music with the serious business of cardiac medicine and surgery to fight this inequality, they threw their first concerts and treated a handful of children. Officially recognized as an NGO in 2005, Heartbeat now counts on the talent, support, and commitment of more than 100 people every year to pursue its mission, and treat more children in need.
