Es promouran les actuacions basades en evidències cientificotècniques i seguint sempre els estàndards imposats per les institucions conservacionistes internacionals. 3. Sensibilització i educació ambiental: dur a terme accions efectives per tal d’augmentar la sensibilització del públic generalista i especialitzat respecte la conservació i l’estudi dels amfibis i els rèptils, amb especial èmfasi en el públic infantil i juvenil. De manera paral·lela, l’entitat persegueix altres objectius: a) Aplegar les persones interessades en l’estudi dels amfibis i rèptils, tant afeccionats com professionals. b) Facilitar la comunicació entre els socis, oferint-los els elements socials de que disposi l’entitat en cada moment. c) Promoure la llengua catalana en l’àmbit de les ciències herpetològiques. d) Divulgar el coneixement sobre l’herpetofauna, apropant-lo a la societat. 2.2 Les activitats que desenvolupa la SCH per tal d’assolir les seves finalitats són les següents: a) Execució de projectes de recerca, conservació i/o recuperació que permet
