Aceh Green Community, originally declared as LSM Aceh Green Care (AGC) on 1 May 2006 in Matang Glumpangdua, Bireuen, was founded by youth activists and environmentalists responding to coastal and forest destruction in Aceh after the 2004 tsunami.
