Article 3. The aim of the Association is to promote professionalism among its members, by means of the creation of a shared space of reflection that facilitates the generation and transfer of knowledge, the expert and the managerial skills among its members, the exchange of good practices, the identification of new opportunities for professional growth, and to promote the scientific and technical development of this discipline in all areas in which these activities operate. At the same time, it places in value the healthcare management and organization with which it is closely linked, as a crucial element for the development of the health sector, the new knowledge economy and, therefore, the society's joint venture.

Societat Catalana de Gestió Sanitària és fomentar el professionalisme entre els seus membres, mitjançant la creació d'un espai compartit de reflexió que faciliti la generació i transferència de coneixement, l'expertesa i habilitats gestores entre els seus membres, l'intercanvi de bones pràctiques, la identificació de noves oportunitats de creixement professional, i afavoreixi el desenvolupament científic i tècnic d'aquesta disciplina en tots els àmbits en els que aquests operin.
