Els fins de l'associació són: promoure la difusió del coneixement de l'orquidiologia i de les activitats que guardin afinitats amb ella, l'orientació al potencial afeccionat i estudiós de tots aquells aspectes que puguin guardar relació amb tot allò que significa l'orquidiologia, de tota aquella sèrie de activitats que representin la seva millora i foment. Fomentar la conservació de les orquídies autòctones així com brindar la nostra col·laboració a les institucions involucrades en la seva preservació.
