The purposes of the association are: to give Catalonia the project "Ritmo en los Barrios" in which we have been working since 2003 in Nicaragua, with the aim of bringing Music Education to low-income schools; to obtain funding for the project; to promote Music Education among children and young people of low-income schools in Nicaragua; to train and to give work to teachers of music in Nicaragua; to promote volunteering in Catalonia and Nicaragua; and to promote cultural interaction between schools in Catalonia and Nicaragua. To achieve its aims, the association realizes the following activities: informative days; volunteer training days; beneficial acts: concerts, firs, exhibitions,...; sale of beneficial calendars; and groups in schools.
