Home of the racist triangle on legs

I’m not Welsh but I was forced to attend a Welsh language school for a few years as a kid.The Urdd is an extremist nationalist organisation that you are forced to pay to join or not be allowed to take part in school trips etc. Every year the Welsh language schools take pupils for a weekend at one of the Urdd’s camps, either Llangrannog in West Wales or Glanllyn in the north. This weekend always pans with the exact same schedule, from year to year. Endless compulsory singing and country dancing while being indoctrinated with the might of the Welsh and how evil the English are! It says a lot that Llangrannog has a legend of a black woman who supposedly haunts the place. This tells you a lot about their mindset. The Urdd’s mascot is this creepy triangle with legs that you’re expected to revere. Apparently the green in it depects Wales, the white, Jesus (of course!) and the red BLOOD! Seriously unpleasant little organisation that most outside Wales are blissfully unaware of…and why wouldn’t they be?
