The purpose of the financial support shall be to promote the opportunities of adopted persons to visit their countries of origin or to seek their origin in other ways. The foundation may also promote related purposes. Instead or in addition to providing financial support as described above, the foundation may provide financial support to other organisations that promote the above-mentioned purposes. If the financial support is distributed directly to internationally adopted persons, the primary purpose of the grant shall be to persons adopted through the Family Association for International Adoption, FFIA and, second, to other internationally adopted persons in Sweden.

Stiftelsen får även främja därtill näraliggande ändamål. Stiftelsen får istället eller utöver att ge ekonomiskt stöd enligt ovan, ge ekonomiskt stöd till annan organisation som främjar ovan angivna ändamål. Om det ekonomiska stödet delas ut direkt till internationellt adopterade så ska bidrag i första hand ges till personer som är adopterade genom Familjeföreningen för internationell adoption, FFIA och i andra hand till andra internationellt adopterade i Sverige.
