The purpose of the Foundation is to promote international opinion formation with a focus on reducing alcohol use and to support organisations within and outside the Nordic countries, which work to promote the development of a policy of alcohol policy in the legislative, governmental and administrative fields. The Foundation shall consider its position in all its activities as a complement to existing organisations with a focus that address the Foundation's objectives. The Foundation shall therefore, where appropriate, seek to carry out its tasks through or in cooperation with these organisations.
