Education: We gave two scholarships this year, and held outdoor events that were informative to the public. The Texas Gathering of the Nations brought together multiple Native American tribes, who performed traditional dances, and displayed and demonstrated primitive instruments and tools, among other things. The Texas Independence Day Festival allowed the opportunity to educate on the beginnings of the Texas Republic and brought together educational and historically based nonprofits who were able to educate those who visited their booths. Gift Shop: The gift shop grew over this past year. We have begun offering more items, and have more plans to expand in the coming fiscal year.
