About

Lee County Council on Aging is driven by a single goal; to do our part in making the community a better place for all seniors. LCCOA is a multi-purpose non-profit social service agency, located in Dixon, IL. We offer an array of programs and services to Lee County residents aged 60+ and disabled going on Medicare.

Mission

1) to study and inventory the needs and welfare of lee county citizens, regarldess of race, color, national orgin, or religion. Lccoa will be focused on persons 60 years and older. 2) to determine which areas of need are being met and decide what services are not being met and should be developed to meet the needs of lee county citizens.3) to make the general public and existing agencies aware of needs and problems of lee county.4) to serve as a medium through which organizations can exchange information, coordinate programs and engage in joint endeavors for lee county citizens.5) to promote and stimulate programs that will help lee county citizens enjoy more meaningful lives.6) to serve as a focal point as designed by the department on aging for information and referral services and by the illinois department of transportation and lee county to provide transportation to all ages throughout lee county.
