Somos um espaço de criação artística e de inovação em Lisboa. Com múltiplos projetos que cruzam a arte, a criatividade, a transformação social e a saúde mental, no centro do projeto estão artistas contemporâneos e criativos com doença mental que são excluídos devido ao estigma da nossa sociedade em relação à loucura. Nascemos da experiência de mais de vinte anos em hospitais psiquiátricos e no mundo da arte e da cultura, onde fomos encontrando artistas e obras maravilhosas, mas que no entanto eram excluídos dos circuitos comerciais de arte em Portugal simplesmente pelo estigma da sua doença mental. Isto levou-nos a organizar as primeiras exposições artísticas no Hospital Psiquiátrico Júlio de Matos – agora conhecido como Hospital Psiquiátrico de Lisboa-, onde criámos e inaugurámos o ciclo de arte contemporânea deste hospital lisboeta, cruzando e misturando artistas contemporâneos portugueses e estrangeiros já conceituados com artistas do hospital, mantendo o anonimato da obra e derrubando a barreira do estigma que atua não pelo valor da arte, mas sim pela doença. Em 2018 lançámos o Manicómio, localizado num espaço de cowork com outros profissionais, criativos e empresas, porque sabemos que o futuro passa pela mistura, valorização, normalização e aceitação da loucura.
