O Movimento de Apoio ao Diminuído Intelectual (M.A.D.I.) de Vila do Conde tem como missão, no Concelho e Concelhos limítrofes, a dignificação da pessoa com deficiência mental em ordem a assegurar-lhe a plenitude do gozo dos direitos do seu estatuto de cidadão, intervindo em áreas da pedagogia e reabilitação em diferentes faixas etárias.Sendo a Instituição pioneira na intervenção com pessoas portadoras de deficiência na região, fomenta a integração educacional, ocupacional, sócio-profissional e habitacional, priorizando as famílias mais carenciadas nas múltiplas vertentes da reabilitação.
