The National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES) is an American non-profit organization dedicated to advancing professional licensure for engineers and surveyors. Mission

The mission of ncees is to advance licensure for engineers and surveyors in order to protect the health, safety, and welfare of the public. This mission is supported through its member boards, board of directors, staff, board administrators, (continued in schedule o) and volunteers by: -providing outstanding nationally normed examinations for engineers and surveyors- providing uniform model laws and model rules for adoption by the member boards- promoting professional ethics among all engineers and surveyors- coordinating with domestic and international organizations to advance licensure of all engineers and surveyors.
