Our one-on-one virtual exchanges continued between students in nashville and mendoza, argentina; taiyuan, china, and caen, france. Scn was able to attend a number of community festivals including celebrate nashville cultural festival, the chinese new year festival, and nashville cherry blossom festival which reached over 40,000 people. Scn hosted an adult delegation visit to mendoza, argentina for the first time in three years, taking 28 nashvillians to this sister city, and sent a small delegation to belfast n. Ireland to explore ways to create more business and educational connections. In turn, scn hosted official visits and visitors from edmonton, canada; mendoza, argentina; uzbekistan; belfast n. Ireland; including a government delegation of 15 from erbil, kurdistan, iraq as we began to explore a formal partnership with this middle eastern city (nashville is home to the largest kurdish population outside of kurdistan). All of these visits included educational programming, encouraged economic exchange, highlighted partnerships in our different cities, and offered opportunities for citizens of both cities to create or strengthen meaningful relationships through workshops, networking events, and cultural act
