SOS Children's Villages Lebanon, formally the Lebanese Association of SOS Children's Villages, is a member of the international SOS Children's Villages federation. The concept arrived in Lebanon in 1964 and the Lebanese government agreed to establish the association in 1966. It provides family-based care to children who have lost or are at risk of losing parental care, and in 1986 it was the first to introduce the SOS Family Strengthening Program in Lebanon.
