Ústav bude poskytovat tyto služby:; a) Prevence a screening civilizačních onemocnění, zvláště vývojových ortopedických a neurologických vad a nemocí.; b) Výzkum a dlouhodobé sledování civilizačních onemocnění, zvláště vývojových, ortopedických a neurologických vad a nemocí.; c) Výzkum a dlouhodobé sledování účinnosti konzervativních, operačních a rehabilitačních léčebných metod u civilizačních onemocnění, zvláště vývojových ortopedických a neurologických vad a nemocí.; d) Výzkum a vývoj fyzioterapeutických metodik určených primárně pro léčbu vývojových, ortopedických a neurologických vad a nemocí.; e) Diagnostickou činnost zaměřenou na zjištění stavu a funkčnosti pohybového aparátu.; f) Ambulantní specializovanou péči v oboru fyzioterapeut - léčebně rehabilitační péče (individuální fyzioterapie, skupinová pohybová léčba, pohybová léčba pomocí přístrojů, fyzikální terapie).; g) Prorodinné služby, poskytování psychické podpory a pomoci, poradenství - informační servis, zprostředkování návazných služeb. Získávání a předávání odborných poznatků o výchově, zdraví a psychologii rodinného života. Poskytování domácí fyzioterapie a rehabilitace. Sociálně aktivizační služby, vzdělávací, volnočasové, podpůrné a doplňkové aktivity s cílem sociální integrace osob s různým handicapem do společnosti.
