Amour et Partage’s vision is “Solidarity beyond limits”. Our main accomplishment so far is that we have been able to put a smile back on the elderly's faces who have integrated our family. In fact, since 2003, we have reached the number of 140 old people for whom we have been or are still providing care, by the means of a decent shelter, food, medical care and decent burial when any of them was to pass away (around 50 people till now). It is also renting a second house in Bickfaya and providing care for another 100 people who live outside of the Houses. All the assistance is given Free of Charge. Our mission is to cater for the needs of the most deprived elderly people in Lebanon and also includes: • Rescue the poorest of the poor without any distinction of religion or belonging. • Give them a dignified life • Participate in their social reintegration In their eyes and on their faces are the sequences of a life ... A life made of happiness and unhappiness, laughter and tears ... The old ones sowed the earth and showered it with sweat, love and tenderness. Now they have the right to rest. It's up to us to take care of them! Older people also have the right to live in dignity. Many of them are deprived of their basic needs. Do not forget them, do not neglect them. Let's fill the rest of their lives with a lot of joy and love. Let us join hands to ensure a decent life for them.
