Auch institutionelle Investoren zählen dazu. Zusätzlich vertreten wir knapp 100 Beratungsgesellschaften, Dienstleister und sonstige Institutionen, die mit Beteiligungsgesellschaften zusammenarbeiten. Unser Verband hat seinen Sitz in der Reinhardtstraße 29b, mitten im Regierungsviertel Berlins. Hier wirkt die Geschäftsstelle des BVK, die von Ulrike Hinrichs als geschäftsführendem Vorstandsmitglied geleitet wird. Neben Ulrike Hinrichs gehören dem Vorstand des BVK neun ehrenamtliche Mitglieder an, die die einzelnen Fachbereiche des BVK repräsentieren und im Beteiligungsmarkt tätig sind. Der Sprecher des Vorstandes ist Frank Hüther. Dr. Robert Hennigs und Mark Schmitz sind die beiden stellvertretenden Sprecher des Vorstands. Zusätzlich verfügt der BVK über drei Beiräte: einen Rechtsbeirat, einen wissenschaftlichen Beirat, dessen Mitglieder renommierte Forscher auf dem Feld Finanzmärkte sind, und einen BVK-Beirat, der sich aus namhaften Persönlichkeiten der Private Equity-Branche und dessen Umfeld zusammensetzt.
