Awareness - foster local, national and international amateur sports competition through the organization of activities that promote the growth of the sport of ultimate including, but not limited to: educational programs, tournaments, leagues, fundraising, exhibition events, and social events. Adult development - this year we hosted two tournaments for over 900 amateur adult athletes (45 teams). The first was beach westerns, a beach tournament in santa monica that promotes gender equity and gives players a chance to tune up before beach nationals. The second was the sw club regional championships held in tracy, ca where teams compete (in three divisions: men's, mixed, & women's) for the chance to advance to usa ultimate's club nationals. College development - program specifically for college teams with a diverse range of players in terms of both year in school and experience.
