At this time, chicago collections has 60 unique members with diverse archival collections. 2022 saw the launch of ccc's 10-year anniversary and the beginning of a poetry contest for chicagoland high school students, held in partnership with ccc members' chicago public library and the poetry foundation. The competition was held for the second time in the spring of 2023. Students were asked to be inspired by an image on ccc's explore portal and write a poem. 55 submissions were received from 10 chicagoland high schools, william howard taft high school, air force academy high school, the chicago high school for the arts, evergreen park community high school, william fremd high school, grayslake north high school, kenwood academy high school, homewood-flossmoor community high school, jones college prep, and phillips exeter academy. 6 students were recognized with a certificate and monetary award.
