V rámci provozu sociálně terapeutických dílen ústav nabízí uživatelům služby sociální péče v souladu s § 67 zákona č. 108/2006 Sb. o sociálních službách a § 32 vyhlášky MPSV č. 505/2006 Sb.; d) zajišťování výchovně vzdělávací činnosti zejména prostřednictvím programů celoživotního vzdělávání; e) poradenská a osvětová činnost; f) zajišťování výletů a poznávacích zájezdů; g) organizování návštěv filmových, divadelních a dalších kulturních představení; h) zajišťování rekreačních a rekondičních pobytů; i) vydávání časopisu Porozumění se sociální tématikou zaměřenou na problematiku mentálního postižení
