The company is established to provide support and development services for foster families of the Liberec Region, in particular: (a) accompanying foster children and families, their methodological guidance, advice on managing child-to-child problem behaviour, resolution of disputes within the NRP, preparation of children for leaving foster care; (b) training, recruitment, training and subsequent conclusion of support services contracts; (c) psychological and therapeutic services for foster children and foster parents; (d) supervision of foster parents, supervision of the company's staff, (e) providing relief services for foster families; (f) accompanying and coordinating, assisting in the contact of children and foster families with the biological parents of children in the NRP; (g) promoting healthy mental development and identity of children in the NRP; (h) consultation, support for foster parents in the field of law, social services, special education and other areas according to the needs of foster families; (i) raising funds, consulting, including advice on project preparation and grant applications and on the actual implementation of projects; (j) the processing of projects and applications for grants, including annexes from all available domestic and foreign financial resources, including EU Structural Funds; k) coordination, administration and implementation of projects, whose carrier is Good Mind o.p.s., or other non-profit organizations, (l) organising educational events and seminars, publishing, awareness-raising and advisory activities; m) fundraising activities to ensure the activities of Good Mind o.p.s., n) providing publicity and public relations of the projects implemented.

Společnost je založena za účelem poskytování podpůrných a rozvojových služeb pro pěstounské rodiny území Libereckého kraje, zejména tedy: a) doprovázení dětí a rodin v pěstounské péči, jejich metodické vedení, poradenství při zvládání problémového chování dětí, řešení sporů v rámci NRP, příprava dětí na odchod z pěstounské péče, b) vzdělávání, nábor pěstounů, jejich odborná příprava a následné uzavírání smluv o podpůrných službách, c) psychologické a terapeutické služby pro děti v pěstounské péči i pro pěstouny, d) supervize pěstounů, supervize pracovníků společnosti, e) poskytování odlehčovacích služeb pro pěstounské rodiny, f) doprovázení a koordinace, pomoc při styku dětí a pěstounských rodin s biologickými rodiči dětí v NRP, g) podpora zdravého psychického vývoje a identity dětí v NRP, h) konzultace, podpora pěstounům v oblasti práva, sociálních služeb, speciálně pedagogické péče a dalších oblastech dle potřeb pěstounských rodin, i) získávání finančních prostředků, poradenství, včetně poradenství při sestavování projektů a žádostí o dotace a při vlastní realizaci projektů, j) zpracování projektů a žádostí o dotaci včetně příloh ze všech dostupných domácích i zahraničních finančních zdrojů, včetně Strukturálních fondů EU, k) koordinace, administrace a realizace projektů, jejichž nositelem je Dobrá mysl o.p.s., případně další neziskové organizace, l) pořádání vzdělávacích akcí a seminářů, publikační, osvětová a poradenská činnost, m) fundraisingové aktivity pro zajištění činnosti Dobrá mysl o.p.s., n) zajišťování publicity a public relations realizovaných projektů.
