The Institute is responsible for helping vulnerable and disadvantaged groups to integrate into society. The mission of the Institute is to contribute to the integration of disadvantaged groups of the population, to increasing the capacity to apply to the labour market and to orientation in normal life. The Institute's activities are focused on activities increasing the opportunities for employment in the labour market for the target group, through consulting, active assistance in job search, providing support activities in job search, providing educational programmes, organising and managing interest and educational activities with children and youth.

Posláním ústavu je vlastní činností přispívat k integraci znevýhodněných skupin obyvatelstva, zvyšování schopnosti uplatnění na trhu práce a orientace v běžném životě. Činnost ústavu je zaměřena na aktivity zvyšující možnosti uplatnění na trhu práce pro cílovou skupinu a to formou poradenství, aktivní pomoci při hledání zaměstnání, poskytování podpůrných činností při hledání zaměstnání, poskytování vzdělávacích programů, organizace a vedení zájmových a vzdělávacích aktivit s dětmi a mládeží.
