Mission

Heal ukraine trauma (hut) is the first initiative of heal traumas international, inc., a mental health non-profit founded in 2022. Our mission is to help ukrainians heal from conflict-related trauma so they can live fulfilling, productive lives. Hut has two focus areas in ukraine. We work with mental health experts and local partners to deliver evidence-based programs to children dealing with traumatic stress from the war. To address the unmet mental health needs of veterans suffering from ptsd and other serious mental health conditions, we also support clinical research and therapist training needed for the legalization of novel therapies with the potential to improve outcomes in these hard-to-treat conditions.
