I've looked on the website and I've spoken to the helpline. All in all it hasn't helped me a great deal, to feel more at ease with this chronic condition or inspire me to find a way upwards. Most of the videos I watched and I watched about a hours worth were all by satisfied subject .Yes it's good to know that others experience similar issues but almost all spoke of strong family support to get them through and repeated in parrot fashion. The empty narrative that there is help out there for all. (Subjects seemed to be mainly selected from the middle -upper class.) Clearly with cut backs and a decline in public services there is not. The section where they talk about eczema and work is all geared towards people who work in white collar environments and presumes understanding employers , I've never encountered one of those and don't work in white collar environments. I think the committee needs to look outside it's own limited experience and widen it's audience. Most of the nurses have little understanding what they are talking about and just repeat what my GP's have said and I've never been offered different treatment just basically. the same products I've used since I was younger. The eczema seems to flair up or die down regardless of the treatment itself. Which can be wrong as I'd like something to rescind the experience when it's at it's most intense. I was hoping to speak to someone with more empathy and to think outside of their script.
