ASOCIAȚIA va acorda o atenție deosebită acelor activități care au ca scop:,4 integrarea activității profesionale a nutriționiștilor și dieteticienilor în cadrul larg de prezervare a sănătății populației, în contextul Directivelor Uniunii Europene;,5 promovarea prin mijloace specifice și generale, documentate științific, a unei alimentații sănătoase în rândul populației;,6 inițierea educației în domeniul alimentației corecte începând de la nivelul familiei și extinzând promovarea la următoarele niveluri: preșcolar, primar, gimnazial și liceal prin metode de tip interactive și simpozioane, expuneri, mese rotunde;,7 susținererea prin activități adecvate a practicării sporturilor și exercițiului fizic în scopul dezvoltării armonioase și menținerii sănătății;,8 realizarea de materiale informative pe diverse suporturi (CD, casete, pliante) pentru susținerea și popularizarea scopurilor și obiectivelor asociației;,9 asociația va iniția, sprijini și organiza studii cu caracter teoretic și aplicativ, seminarii cu participarea specialiștilor și a reprezentanților organizațiilor și organismelor neguvernamentale și guvernamentale interesate;,10 la realizarea acțiunilor asociației va putea colabora și solicita sprijinul ministerelor de resort, precum și a altor instituții de știință și învățământ. De asemenea va milita pentru acțiuni comune cu alte societăți, asociații și fundații din țară și din străinătate, care urmăresc scopuri asemănătoare;,11 va acorda (în funcție de posibilități) din fondurile proprii: premii pentru lucrări științifice, pentru activitatea de susținere a scopurilor asociației, burse de documentare în țară și străinătate.
