About Daisys Place Avian Sanctuary

We believe that the birds didn't have a choice in who their original owners were, but that they have every right to have as full of a life as possible. We aim to get the birds to try a variety of fresh foods and nuts that would be native to their countries of origin. Fresh salads featuring fruits, vegetables and grains are made daily. We would like to be active in our community by educating the public on the plight of captive birds. We hope to help instill a sense of responsibility so that as the kids continue to grow up, they remember that all pets depend on them for everything.
