Zuerst ist zu erwähnen, dass bis vor kurzem noch sehr viele negative Bewertungen zu sehen waren.Diese wurden anscheinende alle gelöscht!!!!Der Deutsche Mieterbund ist ein sehr fragwürdiges Unternehmen.Wir sind Vermieter und haben zum Glück nur einen Mieter, mit dem wir seit über 5 Jahren Ärger haben. Er geht mit jeder Kleinigkeit zum Deutschen Mieterbund, der wiederum immer per Anwalt mit uns kommuniziert. Sei es ein Kratzer am Auto, der angeblich von uns verursacht wurde, oder die Nebenkostenabrechnung. Diese hat der Mieter seit 5 Jahren nicht beglichen, da angeblich entweder die Müllgebühren, die Hausmeisterkosten oder die Quadratmeterzahlen nicht stimmen, obwohl dies alles dokumentiert werden konnte. Telefonisch ist der Mieterbund in Aschaffenburg nicht erreichbar bzw. wenn man jemanden in der Leitung hat, bekommt man die Aussage, dass sie nur mit unserem Anwalt kommunizieren.Das heißt, man kann auch kleine Angelegenheiten nur per Anwalt regeln kann, was erhebliche Kosten mit sich trägt.Aktuell ist es so, dass nicht einmal E-Mails ankommen – telefonisch – keine Erreichbarkeit!!!!Es ist bekannt, dass beim Deutschen Mieterbund nur Anwälte arbeiten, die sonst im öffentlichen Leben keine Chance haben. Der Deutsche Mieterbund sucht haarsträubende Argument, um ihre Klienten dazu zu bewegen, dass sie ihre Rechnungen nicht begleichen müssen. An den Kritiken im Internet können wir entnehmen, dass wir hierbei mit unserer Meinung nicht die Einzigen sind.Dem entsprechend werden wir nun so weit gehen, dass wir künftig nicht mehr an Mieter vermieten, die im Verein des Deutschen Mieterbundes Mitglied sind.

Mir ist die Mitgliedschaft im Mieterbund wegen eines Schimmelproblems in meiner Wohnung empfohlen worden.Der Nachweis des Schimmelbefalls wurde durch einen Mitarbeiter des Landkreises bestätigt und von mir an den Mieterbund weitergeleitet.10 Wochen lang hat der Mieterbund nichts unternommen.Von der Mitarbeiterin erhielt ich keine Auskünfte sondern wurde an den Rechtsanwalt verwiesen, der aber nie telefonisch erreichbar war.Bei einem anderen Problem wurde ich falsch beraten wodurch Fristen versäumt wurden.Pünktlich kommen nur Rechnungen !!!

Leider eine rundum enttäuschende Erfahrung.Nach mehrfachen Nachfragen und insgesamt sechs Wochen Wartezeit kam endlich eine Rückmeldung – allerdings ohne jede Kulanz oder echtes Eingehen auf den Einzelfall. Stattdessen wird sich strikt hinter Paragraphen und der eigenen Satzung versteckt.Besonders enttäuschend: Trotz eines Todesfalls in der Familie wird der volle Jahresbeitrag einbehalten. Für mich absolut unverständlich und menschlich sehr fragwürdig.Auch der Kontakt war alles andere als angenehm. Die zuständige Mitarbeiterin trat unfreundlich auf und zeigte keinerlei Verständnis für die Situation.Insgesamt entsteht der Eindruck, dass hier weder Kundenorientierung noch Empathie eine Rolle spielen. So geht man mit langjährigen Mitgliedern nicht um.Definitiv nicht zu empfehlen.
