The organisation's purposes are: a) To support the wellbeing of children & young people aged 3 - 16 years old, who face barriers in accessing the wider community due to additional & complex needs by: i) Providing information, advice and comprehensive sign-posting to services and support for families and carers of children with additional & complex needs through collaboration with relevant agencies and organisations. ii) Working in partnership with other organisations to promote inclusion and accessibility within the local community and co-create services for children who have additional & complex needs. iii) Working collaboratively with statutory and voluntary organisations to share ideas, resources and plans in order to create and improve integrated approaches and services for the benefit of all children. iv) Supporting parents and individuals from vulnerable and isolated groups to improve mental and physical wellbeing, to overcome feelings of loneliness and isolation and to build confidence and purpose through wellness workshops, treatments and walks. b) To work towards and promote the provision of facilities and activities for the recreation and other leisure time occupation of children with additional & complex needs and their families and to work towards the development of a physical space which can provide safe and accessible play, self-help and socialising for children with additional & complex needs, their families, friends and carers. c) To promote equity and diversity by acting as advocates for children with additional & complex needs and their families/caregivers. d) To advance public education in all matters relating to individuals with additional & complex needs, and to support the eradication of stigma attaching to individuals with additional & complex needs.
