Global Charity Register Transparency Index 2026

How open are the world's official charity registers? 76 countries scored on seven dimensions, from register existence to machine readability and financial disclosure. Six countries reach 100 out of 100, wealth does not predict openness, and several registers that refuse foreign connections turn out to be richer than Germany's.
