Everything went well untill I actually had to claim for damages. I recently moved to a house and I had to remove my kitchen door off the hinges(and I asked the guys from the Moving company to help me unmount the door) to finish the installation of my kitchen. The same night the door fell off and I wrote to them to help me pay for the repairs.One fine afternoon as I was in my office in the middle of my work someone calls from their company speaks to me in extremely rude tone and doesn't let me explain or ask if it's right time to have a conversation and says it's upto the moving company to pay. I write to them about the experience, without any apologies for a late or rude answer, they asked me to write to the company who helped me in moving. I forwarded their mail to the moving company they say it's not their responsibility (logically so). Now I have a broken door and a reluctant to pay insurance company. I bought the insurance on a recommendation of a colleague who also did not raise any claim so far. It's a good lesson for me and my colleagues.Also tried as suggested in the reply to write again, it did not help. The answer I got is so bizarre, with assumptions of the age of the door and pushing the responsibility of the payment to my landlord and moving company. Not even once was I contacted to really get any information on the actuality of the situation. Except for the rude call on how I won't get any money back.Thanks for the nightmare! Never again!

The comunication between the customer and Huk Coburg was zero , my pesonal advisor from Rheinfelden Baden , i was last week and ask him how much i have to pay for my auto insurance? You have to pay 601.42 euro , ok in 1 week maximum i will transfer all the money, on 8 July i transfered all the money that he said but my auto insurance was canceled from Mai and now is July.Nobody tell me nothing and i drive my car without insurance for 2 months without my personal advisor from Huk -Coburg Rheinfelden Baden let me know that i dont have insurance for my car and my auto insurance was stopped for not paying the total amount.I was with Huk Coburg for 5 years without any problems and for no comunication between the customer and pesonal advisor my insurance was blocked completly.My son has Brain Cancer and i have surgery and tratament to Kinder Spital in Basel and i cannot use my car anymore.I went today to make another insurance with some other insurance company and they say No , we cannot make for you insurance for this car because Huk Coburg canceled your contract and not you , you must sell your car,buy another one and after we can make your car insurance again Thank you very much Huk Coburg and your team for this embarrasing situation.Good Bless Huk -Coburg for this embarrasing situation

Since many year I had been paying customer.Than, one bad damage came. I wrote some emails to HUK, and they send a company for "help".This company came, but without any proper and useful workingtools. The worker says, he was hearing about this case one hour before.I wrote again to Huk. And againAnd again.No answer came.6 months.Meanwhile our flat was no more to use.This insurance is not even earning to get "one star " !Is this way of no reaction a kind of business ?I m looking now for new insurances with a real service .Its really astonishing, that here they suddenly have some miracle worker, who is giving an answer... and not an email-"no reply"- answering maschine.

After almost 30 combined years of cover with Huk Coburg my wife and I merged our cover into a family Haftpflichtversicherung for 2021 going forward.Unfortunately, we had to contact Huk for support recently after we received a bill for 800 euro for damage to a piano in a rented practice room. We did not use this piano and were willing to dispute this but the timing of this was very unfortunate as my wife was due to give birth that week.We contacted HUK and an agent stated that Huk would handle this and ether pay the damage or defend our case.Despite a statement saying all cases would be processed in 14 days almost ONE MONTH later we got an email stating that Huk would not cover us as there was a clause in our contract staring that inventory in a rented room is not covered.I am unaware of this clause in my original haftpflichtversicherung contract and this whole clause seems quite obscure. To me this case would be exactly why one would need haftpflichtversicherung. We have paid over 3 times this claim amount in premiums over the years without ever claiming until now. So it seems that we have paid THOUSANDS of euros over the years for an ILLUSION of cover.Needless to say, we are cancelling our contracts with Huk at the next opportunity.The cover story in the abendzeitung today was about different insurance companies cover - who pays what. I will email this scenario to them for any follow up articles as people should know about this clause should they decide to engage in a contract with Huk.Interestingly, I have contacted an agent at another insurance provider who stated that he was unaware of any such clause in their contract but if it did exist they could remove it for us for a small extra fee per month.I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND Huk Coburg-----------------------------------In response to comment from Olli from Huk below:-----------------------------------I am aware of that correspondence and I have detailed it above.
