Wir können das unterstreichen und sehen, dass die additive Fertigung als Kerntechnologie für die zentralen Zukunftstechnologien entscheidend sein wird. Dies betrifft beispielsweise die Luftfahrt-, die Automobil-/Mobilitäts- und die Medizinindustrie. Ganz entscheidende Potenziale liegen darüber hinaus in Resilienz-relevanten Bereichen, wie der Verteidigungswirtschaft und der Energiebranche. Deutschland ist Pionierland der additiven Fertigung und deutsche Maschinenbaufirmen haben das im Metall-3D-Druck-Bereich heute mit 89,4%-Marktanteil dominierende Verfahren Laser- Strahlschmelzen (PBF-LB/M) erfunden. Die Vorreiterrolle Deutschlands hat sich im Besonderen in den letzten 3 Jahren deutlich abgeschwächt und Deutschland verliert jährlich spür- und messbar an Boden, obgleich die Relevanz der Technologien in entscheidenden Bereichen wie der Verteidigung und der Energieversorgung steigt. Im Jahr 2024 verzeichnete APAC ein Wachstum von +31% während Europa mit 3% wuchs. Im Besonderen Chinesische Anlagenhersteller sind nicht nur günstiger, sondern durch die dort vorliegenden Förderprogramme auch innovativer und besser. Deutschland muss sofort mit einem applikationsfokussierten Förderprogramm gegensteuern, möchte es dieses Technologiefeld nicht in den nächsten 4 Jahren verlieren. Allein in diesem Jahr haben zwei deutsche Schwergewichte ihre Additiven Fertigungsdivisionen auflösen müssen. Weitere Übernahmen durch ausländische Investoren und Insolvenzen sind zu erwarten, wenn nicht kurzfristig gehandelt und diese hochqualifizierten Arbeitsplätze erhalten werden. Empfohlene Maßnahmen zur Unterstützung: - Sofortmaßnahmen: Start von 5 Leuchtturmprojekten mit klarem Industriefokus und Aktivierung der Bereitschaft zur Investition in der vollen thematischen Breite der additiven Fertigung durch die Bereitstellung von 150 Mio. Euro über drei Jahre. Je ein Leuchtturm in den Bereichen Verteidigung, Luftfahrt, Energie, Automotive und Medizin. - Entwicklung und Verabschiedung einer 10-Jahres-Roadmap mit mittelfristigen Förderzusagen, z. B. durch Aufsetzen eines Förderprogramms „TTP Additive“. - Erhöhung der Sichtbarkeit: Förderung der Wahrnehmung deutscher Innovationskraft durch Schirmherrschaft der Initiative „Germany Makes“ - Unterstützung bei jährlich stattfindenden Branchenevents wie der Weltleitmesse Formnext vom 18. bis 21.11.2025 in Frankfurt, dem 10-jährigen Jubiläum des Additive Manufacturing Forum am 10. und 11.03.2026 in Berlin oder der größten europäischen Fachkonferenz Rapid.Tech 3D in Erfurt am 05. bis 07.05.2026.
