We also solicit feedback on what sorts of activities participants would like to see more of. 2021 post-camp surveys indicated that 100% of our 35 camp families were extremely satisfied with camp safety protocols, the overall experience for their child, staff and counselors, and the communication between camp staff and families. 100% of camp families stated they would enroll their child in camp again and would recommend it to a friend with a child with similar needs. In addition to surveys, we also use face-to-face interviews, informal conversations, and onsite reviews from local professionals and program leaders to gauge the quality and effectiveness of camp activities. RhI staff also draw from lived experience caring for children with complex needs to inform our services. RhI maintains relationships with charlottesville and albemarle dss, local foster care agencies, region ten community services board, schools, and local therapy providers to connect to foster, adoptive, and special needs families in our community and collect input on how we can best meet their needs. We formed a scholarship program in 2021 based on input from local service providers as well as families who expressed a need for camp to be more accessible to a wider range of families. We were able to host 7 low-income families on a sliding scale scholarship fee (based on income and family size)in 2021. Rh
