Grundlagen der Arbeit des Rings deutscher Pfadfinder*inn­enverbände (rdp) sind die Vernetzung, der Erfahrungsaustausch und die Kollaboration zwischen seinen Mitgliedern und externen Akteur*innen aus Zivilgesellschaft, Wissenschaft, Wirtschaft und Politik. Ferner vernetzt der Verband seine Mitglieder mit Politiker*innen, um den direkten Dialog zu fördern. Um die Rahmenbedingungen für Kinder und Jugendliche sowie der Jugendverbandsarbeit zu verbessern, unterhalten wir einen „interfraktionellen Dialog“.
