SOS Namibia works in cooperation with local authorities and other community-based organisations to empower families and communities to effectively protect and care for their children. 2. Family care programmes - SOS Namibia is committed to providing necessary basic needs for children and ensures the normal development of all children it serves. Some of the care services SOS provides for the children and young people in care are - early childhood development, youth development, education, capacity building to staff and care workers, sport and recreation, and psychological support.
