The initial purpose of this pilot scheme was to provide life skills to impoverished women and youth of Mundri (and its environs) and to make financial services accessible to them to enable them participate in livelihood activities and thus improve their standards of living. Partnership with MRDA to provide the training is recommended for effectiveness as well as efficient use of WOYE limited financial resources.
