Women and Youth Empowerment Microfinance Institution (WOYE MFI) was established by MRDA in 2007 as a micro-credit component of the Women and Youth Empowerment project (Phased out in 2009). The initial purpose of this pilot scheme was to provide life skills to impoverished women and youth of Mundri (and its environs) and to make financial services accessible to them to enable them participate in livelihood activities and thus improve their standards of living.
