A Ordem de Malta tem como missão, cuidar de pessoas necessitadas através dos seus trabalhos médicos, sociais e humanitários. Através dos seus projetos sociais fornece um apoio constante para membros da sociedade esquecidos ou excluídos, dedicando-se à preservação da dignidade humana e ao cuidado de todos os necessitados, independentemente de sua origem ou religião.
