Should be 0 star.Fair Ways - Lotus LodgeThis children contact centre in Poole is not recommended.Poor substandard service.It is just a normal house with a garden shed.The small shed at the back of the garden is offered as a contact centre.No facilities for children to play.Manager Michelle gave me a completely wrong account number & name to pay the fees.She is very rude & unprofessional.She doesn’t understand the child arrangements order.At the same time she wants bully parents & to push them to go with her own ideas.Absolutely disappointed with the poor service.

Fairways in Southampton discrimination against people with mental health conditions.Staff are not qualified to say about mental health conditions or even to look after babies.Staff lie and don't like being pulled up on there lies and mistakes and there words are it's for there records only that's a lie full stop.Not privately when there in the office talking to other staff as they have door wide open talking about private things about people. They think everyone needs to do escape the Trap when it's teenagers. When they do have babies while people are doing training the baby will be passed from one member of staff to another.And they go through your flat when you go out this place is not normal life. No fire doors in the flat to stop a fire. No sound proofing so you can hear people above you having sex. Staff think it's ok to wait play bingo even tho a child fall on a baby anyone else would take baby straight to a&e not wait for a waking night staff to come in.The waking night staff even lie saying they give advice when they haven't even been in the flat all night and you haven't seen them.Management say cctv gets deleted after 28 days by law they have to keep cctv for 6 months to a year. Oh and the care quality commissioner don't regulate this place like it states online and on there paperwork so show the place and staff are incompetent and inadequate. The place should be shut down.Cctv in someone flat is against the law and cctv on a baby cot is in breach of my privacy and the babies they don't like being recorded because they don't want to be held accountable for there lies mangerment covers up complaints and staff get in to people heads by saying there a danger around there babies so they break and walk away from there baby.They trying say peoples friends are on the sex offenders register when there not.They break the law and lie and say there a charity when in fact they are a Foster care agency. Don't go hear I went hear back in December 2023 for them to separate me and my child the stuff are all un fit workers that are all up there self and helf of them don't even have kids and they are rude and go in to your room when you are in the shower or on the toilet and open your bathroom doorThere are works there that think it is OK to pick your child up with out your consent and feed them why they are being sick and worst of all when I was there they nearly put my baby at risk by giving her infercol when she did not need it and when my daughter was unwell with a virus they told me not to take her to the doctors because she will be fine and she wasn't fine I ignored there advice and acting on mothers instead and I was right she need medication and then my daughter had a birth mark on her head and they said it was not a birth mark to spend 8 hrs in the hospital with my daughter who was not even a year old for them to be told by doctors it's a birth mark they work on behalf of a fostering agency so please don't go hear as they are not there to help they are baby snachers

I went into the Southampton Fairways , with my severely disabled toddler. It became apparent that the staff and assessors had no training or experience and could not follow simple care plans. They do not listen to medical professionals and will actively pressure you to try and go against medical advice because it's not what they think. They have breached data twice , once giving our personal information to another family and the second time staff were talking loudly about our case in the staff room with the door open. The assessor had only become a social worker last year and bearing in mind my daughter is the first child with disabilities fairways had , she did not have the relevant experience to assess us.My daughter had seizures , which fairways did not want to review the CCTV until my partner kicked off at them.They are a fostering agency and do not know what is in the best interest of a child , do not listen to parents even though I am a medical professional.It is that bad that Ofsted now have an open investigation.

Echoing some of the other comments, my wife and I did not have a good time here to say the least They hated us with a passion from the start purely because I have a job and earned more money than them. They seemed to despise the fact that I provide for my family. They also hated the fact that me and my fiance (at the time, now wife) had such a close and loving relationship. They are truly hateful and ignorant people They recommended that our daughter was taken off us, just because they didn’t like us as they were jealous of us. Luckily even the local authority didn’t listen to their recommendation, let alone the judge. Their final report was essentially toilet paper and was rightfully dismissed by the court. However they tried their very best to destroy our family but did not succeed. So to anyone who receives a negative assessment just know that it doesn’t count for anything and they don’t have as much power as they think. It sickens me the way the bully the parents there and trust me we are able to stand up for ourselves but naturally a lot of the residents are more vulnerable Now the dust has settled we will be taking the following action - chasing up the GDPR violation that happened to us when we were at Fairways. I will also be informing the ombudsman that we were forced to delete evidence of a data breach under the threat of losing our daughter. I have also recorded the meeting where this took place on my phone - making a report to Ofsted to inform them of the problematic behaviour of staff and processes - Asking the council to review their funding to Fairways - Writing to the MP in Southampton to inform them or what is going on in their constituency - Reporting Fairways to the charity’s commissioner

If I could rate FairWays with a 0, that would still be too kind. My experience with FairWays starts back in August 2024. Me and my partner (who I will refer to as G) were going through court proceedings with our severely disabled daughter (who I will refer to as L) back in Nov 2023 after being victims to a series of severe false allegations. These were around neglect and even abuse between parent-child, and parent-parent so once our social worker came with a section 20, naturally we both refused to sign it and went on a section 47. After court occurred three days later, we originally got told that a placement at FairWays was available for 5th Jan 2024. Ready to move in, we had our bags packed all set to move in, however on the 4th Jan we got told that the move wasn't going to happen. Originally the excuse was based around FairWays requiring attention least 13 staff members to be trained up on Nasogastric tube feeding, as well as Epilepsy safety and warning signs. This was not the case. The true reason why we were denied was because FairWays didn't confirm the move-in details with our social worker, until June later on that year. Fast forward to August, we moved in on the 16th and for the first six weeks the assessment was going fantastic. Every staff member we had assigned to us were trained in NG feeds, and epilepsy safety. Every care plan regarding physiotherapy and basic care was followed by myself, G and staff to the most highest standards until after our midway report came into hand. All of a sudden the script got flipped when L was assigned to nursery full time, and they then started to demand that we did more physio than was recommended for L, we weren't feeding L properly and safely, the relationship between myself and G wasn't sturdy and secure enough for L and this continued for three weeks. L then started to have seizures inside of FairWays, and when me and my partner heard the scream come from L we instantly phoned up staff who had denied letting us see

Was booked on Friday 6pm, waited 20 mins with no one around & had to knock on the door to a rude response I’m with someone & then had to rebook for Tuesday & when I arrived on Tuesday booked in for 4pm again waiting around and knocked on the door at 4:10 told I’m with someone, poor time management
