These awards are intended to provide an opportunity to defray travel expenses to its biennial Congresses for members, researchers or educators based on monetary need. The International Association for Cross-Cultural Psychology has organized the Harry and Pola Triandis Doctoral Thesis Award, which is supported by the Harry and Pola Triandis Fund. The Award is intended to honor and reward research excellence and to advance the early careers of dedicated researchers in the domain of culture and psychology. One award is given every two years, consisting of a $500 monetary award, one year of membership in the organization, free registration at the next biennial congress, and partial airfare to the conference. The International Association for Cross-Cultural Psychology has organized the Kwok Leung Reserch Award.
