団体は、障害者と健常者が地域で共に生きていく為のコミュニティーセンターとして、障害があっても社会に参加し自立して生きていく為の拠点として存在することを目指して設立されました。 思いを同じくする者たちが集まり、阪神淡路大震災後の炊き出し隊などの地域活動を経て、1995年に障害があってもともに仲間として働ける場所として、当法人の前身である小規模作業所「サニーサイド作業所」を設立しました。支援費制度の施行に伴い、2006年には障害者への介護派遣事業を開始、法人化し「特定非営利活動法人 地域生活を支援する会りんりん」設立に至りました。 現在、「特定非営利活動法人 サニーサイド」と改称し、知的・身体・精神障害者が仲間とともに日中働く場として就労継続支援Ｂ型事業所（作業所）を運営しております。また、地域でのその人らしい暮らしを実現を目指し、介護ヘルパー派遣事業所ならびにグループホーム（共同生活援助）も運営しています。さらに障害者の社会参加事業として、カラオケ大会や料理教室、クリスマス会、チンドン屋といたイベントを企画、運営しています。他にも理事長の松村史邦を中心に、誰もがその人らしさを大切にした暮らしを実現できるように「ミーツ・ザ・福祉（旧 市民福祉のつどい）」や「みとりまちプロジェクト」、「事業所交流会in園田」、「障害者問題を問題を考える兵庫県連絡会議」、「自然と文化の森協会」等、地域での啓蒙、ネットワークづくりのための活動にも積極的に参加しています。 「人としての尊厳」を大切にし、地域社会において、そこに生きるすべての人々が自己の能力を発揮し、障害者、高齢者をはじめ一人一人が輝きいきいきと暮らせる地域社会を創造するために、市民参加型の日常生活の支援、社会参加機会の提供等に関する事業を行い、地域社会における福祉活動、社会教育活動及び人権擁護活動の推進に寄与することを目的としています。 私たちＮＰＯ法人サニーサイドは、障害者が「社会に参加し、それぞれの生活の可能性を広げ、自立していくため」の拠点です。また、関わる健常者にとっても、「自立支援を通して社会に参加する」拠点であり、「共生の考えと行動を、共に謙虚に学んでいく」場であると考え、取り組みを進めてきました。地域のみなさまとともに考え、歩む事業所として、以下の事業活動を続けています。 ●えるうぃ （就労継続支援B型） ●ライフサポートセンター レオーラ （介護派遣事業） ●ほっこり庵 （共同生活援助 グループホーム） ●軽夕食付駅近児童ホームつくし （学童保育事業） ●シェアスペースhinata （地域コミュニティレンタルスペース地域活性化事業） ●ビーマイセルフ （障害者の社会参加事業 カラオケ大会、料理教室、クリスマス会、ちんどん屋など） ●人権・平和を守る普及啓発事業
