Brodosplit d.d. is a member of the DIV group – one of the largest manufacturers in the metal industry in Southeast Europe who, apart from the shipyard, has factories in Croatia, BiH and Serbia and a dozen manufacturing and monitoring plants in shipbuilding. Shipsplit was founded in 1922 by joining several smaller shipyards in Split town. In almost 100 years long history Brodosplit delivered over 460 ships and today acts as a shipyard where all production takes place in one place.
The basic task is to provide all the necessary blood quantities to its active members, donors-employees of Brodosplit d.d. and members of their families. All excess blood collected is donated to the citizens of Split and the County of Split-Dalmatia.
