The Museums Association of Namibia (MAN) is an organization of museums, institutions, and individuals that aims to promote museology and related matters. Since 2002 it has been recognized by the Namibian Government as the voice of Namibian museums and receives an annual grant-in-aid from the Ministry of Education, Arts and Culture to help establish and support heritage institutions at regional and local level. MAN works to strengthen the museum profession and to foster cooperation among museums locally, regionally, and internationally.
