Each year from 2016 to 2019, the PVSD organized and produced a Veterans Stand Down, a 3-day event to provide food, medical care, dental care, legal services, mental health councelling, clothing, equipment, and temporary shelter, to poor and/or homeless military veterans.Typically, about 100 volunteers served, including physicians, dentists, attorneys ,mental health professionals,cooks and servers,and many others. These events typically involved serving 300-350 veterans. Clothing,healthcare items &medicine distributed each year.
