Solidarity for LGBT Human Rights of Korea
About
The Solidarity for LGBT Human Rights of Korea works for the equal rights of LGBTQ people with a perspective of comprehensive social justice for all minority groups in South Korea. Our mission for social justice are directed by two principles: action and solidarity. As the country's biggest membership-based organization fighting for LGBTAIQ+ equality, we act up to raise awareness and change social institutions and culture so that members of the queer community in a broad sense can have pride in who they are and enjoy their rights to dignity. In particular, we are currently focusing on the comprehensive anti-discrimination law, and the rights of LGBTQ workers, people living with HIV/AIDS, refugees and transgender individuals.
