Der SmF-Bundesverband engagiert sich zudem für den Auf- und Ausbau spezifischer Angebote in muslimischer Trägerschaft, darunter Antidiskriminierungsberatungsstellen, Frauenberatungsstellen, Schwangerschafts(konflikt)beratungsstellen sowie Schutzeinrichtungen für von Gewalt betroffene Frauen. Zur Erhöhung der Sichtbarkeit muslimischer Sozialarbeit veröffentlicht der Verband Stellungnahmen zu sozial- und gleichstellungspolitischen Themen, veranstaltet Fachtage und kooperiert mit Fachverbänden, Wissenschaft und Politik.
