Supporting innovation and competitiveness of the STAR region, promoting the creation and functionality of the cooperative innovation network; supporting strategic management and innovation management in the STAR region; supporting and coordinating initiatives for the development of smart localisation processes; marketing of the STAR region, coordinating and developing a common communication strategy of the STAR region, sharing knowledge, networking of entities operating in the STAR region; promoting communication and development of multilateral cooperation between the public, academic and application sectors; preparing and supporting tools for supporting long-term research partnerships, promoting the expansion of interests of application sphere on the results of research and development of academic institutions in the STAR region; seeking new sources of financing for the development of the STAR region; supporting and implementing informal training, supporting measures for the popularisation of science and research, supporting and managing programmes of research workers training in the field of communication and popularisation of science and research; Search and development of talent; supporting and providing additional services necessary for further development of the STAR cluster, i.e. high-quality infrastructure conditions for developing the STAR region - public transport, accommodation capacity, sufficient conference areas, conference from the ground, leisure activities, ICT, energy infrastructure and security and energy security.
